Energy Efficient uPVC in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Energy Ratings

Window Energy Ratings are something you should be looking out for when considering new double glazing. Introduced in 2004 by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) it has been designed to keep the method of measuring the level of energy efficiency as easy as possible.

Aluminium bi-folding doors

The use of a simple lettering system from A (the best) to G (the worst) you can see exactly how efficient your new double glazing will be. The lower the WER, G for example, the more heat will be lost. Ultimately A rated windows will therefore save you money in the long run on heating bills, locking the warm air inside your property.

BFRC

Here at Art On Glass we are proud to say that our energy efficient uPVC windows are all BFRC approved. Our Liniar windows are capable of achieving an A+12 energy rating, one of the highest available to date.

Reduce Your Heating Bills

Keep your heating bills as low as possible with the installation of energy efficient double glazing. With an A+12 WER you can retain an additional 12 kWh per m²  per year over a standard A+0 rated window.

Committed To Recycling

Each of our double glazed products are fully recyclable. Never containing steel reinforcements, our advanced uPVC design is what makes our windows just as robust and strong as reinforced windows but with Eco friendly components.
